The 16th edition of the Baranya County Prima Awards and the Entrepreneur of the Year awards were presented on 6 October in the Croatian Theatre in Pécs. The Entrepreneur of the Year award was also received by Csóka Csaba István Csóka, owner and managing director of Corvus-Med Kft.

Corvus-Med Ltd. has been a recognized player in the Hungarian orthopaedic-technical industry for decades, representing the cutting edge in the production of lower and upper limb prostheses. The company has always considered the improvement of human quality of life as a key priority, of which the development of prosthetic technologies is an essential and integral part.

Corvus-Med Ltd. has been closely cooperating with the 3D Printing and Visualization Center of the University of Pécs for years, and since 2019 the two companies have been working at the same site.

This year, as a result of the joint work, Corvus-Med Ltd. has expanded its staff, hiring a biomedical engineer to support its innovation efforts in prosthesis development. They aim to implement various research and development projects in the field of prosthetics manufacturing, with a focus on 3D printed prostheses.

"I was very surprised to receive this award, I didn't expect it. Of course I am happy that our activities have been recognised in this way," said Csóka Csaba István Csóka after the ceremony.
